Portland Wedding at Oregon City Private Property Boho Garden Party {McKell + Mike}

Lets take a minute and really appreciate all the beauty at this private property. Mckell’s family worked hard and really knocked it out of the park for their big day. With 300 guests in attendance it was a great space to spread out and really enjoy this August day.

The Ceremony took place in the garden while the Reception was out on the lawn. They also build a large silo which served as a bar. The property featured a few lounge set ups as well as a kids area.

Here is another wedding where Carisa and her team with Adornment Events really made it happen. While private properties are great for events; every single items must be sourced and brought in.

It was a team effort to get all the items set up and ready in time. Never underestimate the power a great Wedding Vendor Team has. It truly takes a village to execute an event.

Mckell chose to focus on bold jewel tones to perfectly accent the green surroundings, while really elevating the Boho decor style through out the wedding.

Portland Wedding at Scholls Valley Lodge {Rose + Zeb}

Scholls Valley Lodge is one of my favorite outdoor venues. Its close to Portland yet tucked into the wine country. It’s a great option with covered patio to accommodate the unpredictable Oregon weather.

We love to plan on nice weather, but sometimes in the spring the rain is just part of the deal. That did not put a damper on Rose and Zeb’s big day. Thank you Rachel Lecrone Photography for braving the weather and capturing some amazing photographs.

I also cannot stress enough that a Day of Coordinator is a must! Carisa and her team with Adornment Events were literally cleaning off the rain water from the cement pad to get it ready just in time for the guests to arrive for the ceremony. This is not a job for a family or bridal party members. They came to the wedding to spend the time with you.

The ceremony was originally planned to be out on the lawn but had to be moved under the covering. All said and done, the wedding turned out beautiful none the less.

I really loved the dark wood arbor that we adorned with mixed greenery, which then doubled as a head table backdrop. To go along with the wood theme, we used dark stained wood boxes as centerpieces. Featuring the most beautiful locally gown spring peonies, spray roses and variety of foliage.

Rose choose a bright pop of coral color for her bouquet, floral crown as well as the cake flowers.

Bridal bouquet consisted of the most gorgeous coral charm peonies, locally grown garden roses, succulents, ferns, berries, spirea, lisianthus and the brides favorite-Succulents.

Speaking of the cake-Dream Cakes never disappoints. I always enjoy accenting their cakes with our beautiful flowers.

Portland Wedding at Riverview Restaurant {Grace + Rob}

Grace and Rob had a gorgeous wedding at Rivierview Restaurant. Its a hidden gem that’s located on the way to the Gorge in Troutdale, Oregon. They have several options available for both ceremony and reception layouts- both indoors and out.

The ceremony took place outside in the gazebo/garden while the reception was indoors. The large beautiful windows look out on to the Sandy River.

I really loved the reception set up with long tables and gold chivari chairs. It absolutely transformed the space.

The rest of the photos took place at the nearby waterfalls as well as around the property.

I loved Graces’ unique yet modern 2 piece gown from BHLDN. It suited her quite well. It was fun incorporating orchids as a nod to brides Hawaiian heritage.
